who is the "they" that should be put in charge of banning certain groups/religions/anyones from making whatever music they choose?  i don't mean to sound like a bitch here but banning people from the freedom to express themselves creatively on the grounds that the first and/or last guy who played a rock song sang about something else is just assinine.  rock music doesn't belong to anyone, its not owned by an artist or a country or a corporation or a religion or a code of morality or a who's who of rock history club.

I say they can have music in Rock Heavy metal  Country   whatever the hell....

I will also admit to having liked Stryper....

I am always a sucker for a good vocalist and Michael Sweet is good...

Of course when I do listen to Stryper I pay no attention to the lyrics...
as I also do with some of the Rap artists I like....   lol

Christian or NOT  ya gotta admit the guy has a set of lungs on him...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3xfg3TMUJQ      (non-christian song here  lol)

And he's not hard the eyes    thats for sure....   Cheesy laughing

i personally dont beleive that christians have a place in rock, metal, punk, ect. what are your opinions on this?

I find it strange that there is any Christian Rock/Metal. Isn't this music so full with aggression and leads children into satanism?
This is what was said about Rock and Metal in the past.

In my opinion, Christian themes don't fit properly into the Rockgenre. I don't care about Christian bands. They can do what they want. But I don't understand it. erk

I heard about a Christian Black Metal band...isn't THIS strange....Huh

Christian Black Metal is actually known as White Metal.  Its just the sound of Black Metal with Christian-oriented lyrics.
