Sometimes what your taught all your life isnt right.  Tongue

I was taught that if a man goes out and works and brings in the money then he's the head of the household. And if you stay home you should clean, cook, and stuff for him and not whine and complain about it. I was also taught that if you find a good guy (one who doesn't beat you, cheat on you, etc.) you should go out of your way to please him.

But I was also taught women shouldn't go out and work. That's one of the things I don't agree with.

I agree with this much. I mean, if one person works, the other should  other should do the shit at home, and everything's done. As far as not working, well meh, two jobs are better than one.  mihihi

Yeah, I feel the same way. The thing is I was raised in a family where we were taught that women weren't supposed to work unless they had to...and they're supposed to stay home with the kids. And I don't think that's true...it depends on the relationship and the people involved.

But when I'm in a relationship the man is always in charge. I just like it better that way, if I'm working or not. Just seems more natural to me. I've seen other women who seem to wear the pants in their family. Their husband goes out and makes money and the wife spends it all on junk. They're loud and demanding. I dunno...I always feel bad for the guy. Sometimes I feel like most men today are just big ol' pussies and wonder what the hell happened to REAL men. Sad

I think defining men and women as supposed to have a certain role is ridiculous. Nobody should wear the pants. Let's all just be naked.  mihihi

Your boy is fukn whipped, son.

He's a neat freak who likes to cook.  He works 20 hour days five days a week, giving him barely enough time to sleep, let alone clean or cook or do anything he enjoys.

Agreed. I mean, I don't work at the moment for medical reasons, but since Neil is the only one working, I worry about the shit here at home. I don't mind. I likes it.

Tell him to chill on being so serious, he's going to die anyway. No need to work 20 hours a day, that's like, fukn, stupid.

Tell that to the producers of Melrose Place.  But since it's already illegal in addition to being unreasonable, I really doubt that your or my telling them that they're stupid is going to do a damn thing.

Sigh.

I think that both parties in the relationship need to try to make the other one happy.  Isn't that what love is all about?  Working in the home is just as difficult as working in the office.  Vacuuming is HARD!
