Well, it seems it has an effect that makes a topic difficult to follow. In my case, I had quite a few posts. After the situation was resolved with Satanah I looked back through the topic and it did make it difficult to follow things. Now I'm going to be more reserved with what, when and where I reply and to whom I reply to. As well as trying to ignore those who offend.

I do think all of yall are right. And as far as having a room with a moderator as Red had suggested that is a good idea. There is a way that that can work. Although there is only one Satanah she could appoint someone to be a moderator for such instances. I have noticed as well that there has been a bad mood spreading around here like a plague. A no holds barred thread would also be a good idea like Belial had suggested and if you look at what Belial had written the rules stated that it would be contained to that thread and moved nowhere else. This is a good idea but honestly what Red had mentioned would probably be the best way to try and fix things.

The problem with a room moderator is you have to pick someone of a certain character. A person who is fair minded and able to not become pissy with people. I hosted chat rooms along time ago and saw alot of other hosts who'd abuse their power. You'd want to find someone who can play it fair with all. Often the host ends up becoming buddy buddy. Most rooms with a host become a little clique. Sometimes people rub the clique wrong, and then, rightly or wrongly they end up kicked out. It's a hard job. A good host will not have favorites. They will boot a friend just as easily as they would a stranger if things became a disruption. And who here, from the hardcore room regulars is capable of doing this job with fairness and equal treatment? Trust me, it's a shitty job. As a host I was unable to enjoy my time in the rooms. You have to keep up with fights and arguments, try to get them to settle it down, and sometimes you have to kick out a person. And to do the job fairly you must be willing to risk making an enemy out of a friend. No, hosting a room in the proper fashion is too much of a responsibilty that can easily be abused.

I think the basic point she's trying to get across is most of the people here are adults, and should act like it. Everyone will critisize, disagree, or be angered with or buy something on here at some point I'm sure, it's only in our nature, but let out what you have to fast, then drop it and move on

Yes I believe you're right. Most everyone on here are adults and several act like children when they should be acting their age (sorry for repeating i was just trying to reiterate the point). But you are right they should just drop it and leave shit alone or take it to pm or just ignore each other.
