it would be easy to dismiss, yet the central unexplained mystery is what emboldened the apostles to go out and risk torture/death, while they denied jesus up until the crucifixion, none showed up but the women, and what is logically inconsistent: why did Doubting Thomas get the opportunity to check out Jesus' crucifixion wounds, thus he gained faith in resurrection..... but the rest of humanity have to rely on faith alone...seems unfair for me burn in hell for over a trillion years, while Thomas got to verify his faith in person...

I don't think either of them fundamentally are bad.  If you are talking of the religion itself.  Now if you are talking about the people who participate in the religion..then every religion has its radical extremists.

 Allah is an impersonal god who could care less about the creation, and the only assurance of salvation is to die in a Jihad.

alot of what i know of Muslim is from reading the Koran, talking to people who are currently Muslim, and from my theology professor who was raised Muslim and became a Christian when he was 17. some here might possibly know his name, Ergun Caner. maybe, maybe not, who knows.

there might haveb een followers but the ones who wrote the books wrote them way after christs death
all the stories are just stories, fiction, full of symbols to teach people something
but one of the fundementals of human society is power and such a thing can be misused and so become very misguiding for the people to see reality

prove that they are just stories. it is impossible to prove that, therefore your claim is wrong.

however, i do understand that Christians need to back up the claims that the books are authentic. i believe they have, but not everyone has seen the evidence.

well then learn from Thomas. it is the same concept as learning from others mistakes. you can learn that crack is bad when used incorrectly from the fact that it becomes addicting to and kills other people.
