The hour grows late
My eyes are bleeding

My consciousness
Constantly fleeting

I wish I may
I wish I  might

Get to sleep
To dream tonight

To swim in oceans deep
To stand on mountains high

But still in bed
Awake I lye

Time grinds on
The sky grows blue

I have been awake
The whole night through

The sand man has robbed me
Of my sacred night

So now I must try to dream
In the morning light
