I think those that think the movie sucked either 1. saw it in a theater or 2. were fucking off talking to other people while it was playing.

Angie - pm me - what was the alternate endings? 

I thought it sucked because the movement made me sick to my stomach, and the ending wasn't very good. Also, because it wasn't nearly as scary as everyone said it was.

The ending I saw was where Katie killed Micah. She went into that trance thing, stood over him for awhile, and went downstairs. Then the timer stops going fast and slows down, and you hear her screaming. Micah races out of the bed and goes downstairs while Katie is still screaming, then it's silent. After a few seconds, Katie comes slowly back upstairs, with a butcher knife in her hand and blood all over her shirt. She sits near the end of the bed, rocking back and forth, for like, 2 days (it's sped up) when her friend comes in, and finds Micah dead. Then a few hours pass and the cops bust in. They come up the stairs, and when Katie sees them she starts screaming "Micah? Micah?!" with the butcher knife in her hand, and the cops tell her to put down the weapon and she doesn't... So they shoot her.

The other ending is the one I believe was in theaters.

I can see how the camera movement would make people sick.  The quick movements can be a bit much but think I'm getting used to those.   

Also, I made it a point to not read any reviews or get others opinions on the movie because it always ends up ruining it.  Same goes for watching the previews for it.  If you see too many of them, you run the risk of seeing all the good parts.

I saw a preview tonight though that did show something that wasn't in the version we both saw.  Something coming quickly towards the camera.  Urgh....now I wanna see that ending.

Yeah, that was the Micah guy. He was like, thrown at the camera in that version, I think that's the theatrical one.

It loaded up.  I watched #48.  If they've got the theatrical one up there, I'd love to see the alternate ending.
I thought the ending wasn't that great.  Her killing him and then later getting shot.  I thought she'd fall down some stairs or would've hanged herself.  Or would've been good if the cops took her alive and we'd get to see her get further possessed.  Oh well.  lol  I did find it creepy though when she'd stand over the bed like that or afterwards when she was sitting on the floor swaying back and forth.

The ending I saw wasn't anything like that! She was possessed and told Micah that she didn't want to leave the house and that everything was ok. They ended up sleeping together that night and all of a sudden you hear a boom in the background and she sits straight up in bed like something from the Exorcist, then gets up while the sheets are being pulled off Micah, walks to Micah's side of the bed and just stands there for about an hour or two, then she goes downstairs. After a moment you hear a her scream "Micah! Micah!" and he jumps up and shoots down stairs. All goes quiet for a moment, then you hear stomping back up the stairs and all of a sudden he gets slammed into the wall beside the camera knocking it over. Out of no where, Katie appears in the doorway with blood on her shirt, then she leans down and cat crawls to Micah's dead body, sniffs it, then notices the camera and cat-crawls to it and smiles. Then it ended with "Micah's body was found on October 11th, 2006 by the San Diago Police Department. Katie's whereabouts still remains known"

I loved it. LOL I almost pissed my pants. I have never screamed during a movie until tonight.

I read up on it. The police version was the original ending. It said something about, when the movie is released on DVD it's going to have all four alternate endings and cuts to the movie.

the only good part was right there at the end and it wasnt that great to be worth waiting through 2 hours of bullshit to get to

Why do you think there should be a specific set of time for a movie? If it gets its message across in 10 minutes, it should only be that long. If it takes 8 hours, it should be that long.
