For once, I have to agree with WC. CR has become a real joke. At first, everything was ok, but then all hell broke loose.

Tonight, Kurt, Kaz(Kurt's brother for who don't know), Mystic, me, Jen, and Socky were in chat. Apparently, it was said that Kaz had been banned from the forum for saying that it had poor management. It set LC's bf off, so he banned Kaz from the forum. LC later on said Kaz could re-register an account and even told him in chat when she came in for a little bit. Kaz denied, and said he would just stick to chat. Nothing else was said.

Well, little did some of us know, LC deleted the chat from the forum and stripped Socky and Kurt's mod powers from them for allowing Kaz to be in chat. She specifically said he could rejoin right there in front of everyone! Socky had no idea in the matter in the first place so he was punished for absolutly no reason.

Now, most of the people on the forum are pissed off and aren't going back. Most are even trying to get banned. It's actually kind of funny. LC is being so hypocritical about the situation it's stupid. I don't think I'll be returning either.

I believe those two share some blame but they're not the only ones. My opinions on online communities are confirmed. Other members share blame as well. It's a chain reaction. One starts a thing and before long it turns into something bigger. And so, all are to blame for having a role in it. A pity.

That's who banned Kaz for saying that the forum had poor management. He was just speaking his mind in my opinion... No need to get butt hurt over it. Right after LC told everyone to stop causing drama, he jumped in saying he banned Kaz for acting like a creep. She told everyone that Necro had to Ok it too before Kaz could make another account. =/

It would be a different story if she had discussed this with Socks and Kurt instead of stripping their mod powers out of no where, with no warning, as well as deleting chat from the forum.

The same kind of thing will happen on your forum eventually. Because of friendships, alliances, hurt feelings, being mad, overreacting to things. It always happens on any site.

I'm not getting pissed over something as stupid as this. It's online crap. I don't care. I just really liked CR from the beginning. Socky and Kurt where both respectable mods and helped keep the chat room and forums clean. I just think it was a bit hypocritical of LC to pull something this drastic over a little of nothing. If she wanted Kaz banned, she should have said something in chat about it or PMed both Kurt and Socks while they were there. Not wait until she leaves, knocked out the chat, and screwed with the mods. Sorry, that's just my opinion.

Well if this does not upset you at all then why leave CR over it? I'm not going to leave it over a little spat regardless of how I feel about it.

Leaving it then would imply you have a motivation or seek to accomplish something. Solidarity with your friends? Sticking it to LC? Making a statement?
