I always wanted to work in a movie rental shop. For a movie lover like me that'd be sweet. I'd be watching every movie I wanted to see all day.

Out there in California are your rental shops like ours? See, not only do you rent your movies here but you can also go lay in a tanning bed. Every shop has a bunch of tanning beds!

Simply put, Netflix costs a monthly fee.  If you cancel the service and have outstanding movies they give you a grace period in which to return the movies.  After that period you will be charged a fee assumed to be equal to the price of the movie.  netflix has many different tiers of movie rental from 1 a month to numerous movies all the time.  Build a queue and let the entertainment come.

We have some great independent video stores.  One of them used to be right near my house-- I spent the majority of junior high in there.  It went out of business back in '04 though.  Sad stuff.  They had great collections of foreign and cult films, so many out of print tapes.  

Wistful sigh.

I asked because I find it strange that every rental store in my area also serves as a place to get a fake tan.
