I loved it. I really did. The only thing that bothered me was the preppy highschool bullshit, but it was necessary. The acting was great, I loved everything about it. Excellent film, the ending was disturbing and that earned it extra points.

Well, now that I think of it, some parts with the mother trying to kill her and the opening scene were a bit melodramatic and hard to believe, but other than that, 4 stars from me.

I'm glad you posted this. Every time I go to the video store I look at it but never rent it because it just looks so typical and cheesy. Next time, I'll give it a go then.

It's a pretty good movie. I liked it. I agree with Ea, some parts were hard to believe, but in their own weird way, it works for the film.

Well I saw the movie and hated it.  erk  Here's my take...

It was boring, predictable and it seemed like it was trying to be a cross between "Carrie" and "Rosemary's Baby."  I agree the acting was good, but the story just fell flat. They could have done so much with it, but there wasn't really any "haunting" rather, nose bleeds that seemed related to her *cough* haunting, but turns out to be a tumor? Then there's the prophecy. LOLOLOLOLOL
"I know what you are"  Roll Eyes  After trying to keep yourself from falling asleep they tie it all up at the end with everyone she's come to trust throwing her a party and saying "we've been waiting for you."  erk  Pfffttt....

It sucked! It was horrible! No stars from me and I suggest to everyone else, don't waste your time or money.  My instincts were right every time I passed it by at the video store.

No, I was expecting a "haunting" not a horror movie. It was just blah, but it had great potential. It could have been so much better. For instance, with the nose bleeds, it seems as if the writer was going somewhere with it and I was really anticipating what it might be, but then he probably got writer's block, said fuck it and went in another direction. lol

The Christian girl was kind of creepy. I was hoping she would be more zealous about her beliefs though. I did like the fact that she had the patience and waited for the right time to get her hands on Molly.
