Do you celebrate them? Or only certain ones? I'm curious to how others deal with an anniversary. I suppose since mine and Neil's one year anniversary of marriage is coming up quick, it got me thinking. Neil and I like to do things for each other, and it gives us a chance to go all out for an anniversary.

Give me your thoughts on this.

My husband and I have a tradition that we go out every year (or at least try) to our favorite restaurant and a movie. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but hey, we deserve it. It gives us that guaranteed yearly break from the kids for a bit too.  laughing   It's quite mundane, but it's special to us.  We usually order a bottle of wine, our meal and then we love to reminisce about our lives together, our children, our future. I would look forward to it even if it we were at a little hot dog stand. Ahh yes, just the two of us, lost only each other if only for a little while.  heart

I have no idea yet what me and Neil could do for ours. I know for a gift he wants to get me either a flute or a bowling ball. laughing

Wait, I think I mixed that up...I think those were suppose to be for my birthday...eh, either way lol. I just can't wait. I get all sappy when it comes to anniversaries hahaha.

Those would be interesting anniversary gifts. LOL   However, whatever he gets you, if you're like me, which I'm sure you are when it comes to such things, it'll be the most special gift in the world...even if it ends up being a bowling ball.  laughing

You know every year we're always asking each other if we should do something different and we both try to think of things, but we always decide that it wouldn't be the same without doing what we traditionally do.   Smiley

This year it'll be our 20th wedding anniversary. I still want to do the usual, but something along with it...something special to mark the many years we've been together.  Our anniversary is July 6th, and fireworks are delayed this year, so maybe we can figure something out that includes the holiday celebration.  Smiley

Haha, you're anniversary is the day after ours, which is July 5th. That's pretty neat. But yeah, I'm hoping I get to see tons of fireworks for ours. Even if I have to buy them and set them off myself...(which probably wouldn't happen, since I have a fear of fireworks Sad).

Our anniversary was awesome!!! We both had a blastie blast, plus, we gots to finally meet J! This whole weekend trip was just the greatest. Grin

On the 22nd of every month we always do something. Usually we'll go out for the day, have dinner, a few drinks and then get trashed and come home for sexy time.
