I've scrolled thru EVERY area of my profile edit and have yet to come across a block of text that resembles the one you are suggesting. Have even tried re-copying the layout (Christus 666) into the about me section, my "online now" icons still show large. any other suggestions? Thanks so much for all your help.

Demonson,

I just looked at your HTML source and found the code right away.  Check your "Television" section.

Personally, I like to keep my profile as organized and small as I can {without resizing the sections and what not}, that way people don't have to scroll so much just to read things. I also have my top friends hidden so I don't have to hear people bitch about where they are.  Roll Eyes

As for the "online now" thing, I honestly find no need for me to change it. Eh, sometimes I just hide my "online now" status.

ok, well, we see where you're coming from and don't question you, now kindly don't question others on their profile choices, just because that' s not how you like it doesn't mean that nobody likes it that way

Lol, I didn't question anyone on their profile choices, I was just saying how I like to customize mine.

to me, at least, it came across in a very questioning manner... well, all it was was a misinterpretation, nothing more

There is an issue with Internet Explorer where if people in your friends or comments list are online their "online now" icon will show up huge.  I believe this is a new thing with MySpace since I've just started getting reports about it this week.  So... I went through all of my layouts and fixed the code so this will not be a problem.  Unfortunately the code fix means that auto image resizing in comments is no longer working, but because Firefox and Internet Explorer are so different (come on, IE, get your act together!) I have to do my best to make them compatible.

Anyway, for the updated code you can either just grab the layout code again from my site, or do the following:

Go into your MySpace profile editor and find where you have the main part of your layout code.  Look for the following block of text and delete it, then save your profile:
Code:
td.text td.text table table table td a img {width:80px;}
td.text td.text table table table td div img {width:80px;}
td.text td.text table table td img {width:260px; max-width:260px; width:auto;}
td.text td.text table table td div img {width:80px;}
* html td.text td.text table table td img {width:260px;}
* html td.text td.text table table td a img {width:90px;}
* html td.text td.text table table td div img {width:80px;}

That's it, no more huge "online now" icons.

thx satanah  Cheesy and yessss firefox rules Devil sign

i sence a firefox monopoloy..they are in kahoots with Tom. BASTARDS!!
Firefox is awesome!

I'm with the main fo shizzle here.

I used to be a big I.E. Fan, until one day it decides to give me errors such as HTTP 400: BAD REQUEST (INVALID HEADER NAME) for basically any website I go to.

So I tried using FF. It was faster on loading the page, and better overall. Only thing I don't like about it sometimes is it just randomly sometimes doesn't load the page for any reason. My only rant, but it's nothing compared to I.E.'s total failure.
