Eureka 7 is different than most similar animes. It is story driven more than action but has enough action to make it fun. Character design is alot different than the usual fare. Like many animes they have mecha. Only these mechas basically skyboard. Only they do not go into much explaining so it is not as technical. The main characters, Eureka ( pronounced like El-rekka or A--o-recka) and Renton are very interesting. Eureka is kinda cute too. I recommend it.

Lets put it this way, ever heard of the old War of the World's radio broadcast scare? A promo stunt for ATHF the other day had the same effect in Boston. It is ridiculous. Fits the show though.

the same happens here in my country maybe 40 years ago, someone bring the same broadcast in spanish... the ppl go out and burn the radio too hahahahahahaha
