Ok everyone, since Gypsy and I started talking about it, I would like to know if you have seen any Asian horror ( aside from US remakes, which suck), what they were and what you thought.  I want to know if there are any out there I haven't seen, so i can buy them.

Some of the best ones I have seen I will list them in order. Some are not horror.  They are great movies. If you deal with netflix or Blockbuster online, check them out. Awesom!!

ok i would like to add my experience with asian culture..

i start to study grimorie tha's the root where comes the words gematri or grammar. and is intrestin to know how much is the relevance with "writing" in  japan ... and the art always have another concept.

there is horror, and all estetic in japan, they make always new styles to produce art... and today we have all this movies full of Orochie (blood) but always with the irreverent and vanguardist japan-art


actually the only think i could said about movies such as: "ichi the killer" "audition", "visitor q"... etc they called guro (gore)

My gypsy. All the big words laughing  My son knows japanese, not me.  I do know what Bakamono  means (sp?)  It means monster.  I know some of them can be very gory, but some of them are very good.

Well, they scared me  Shocked  There was one that would have been ok if they hadn't of showed the little girl getting burned alive in a car every 15 mins. LOL  it was suspensful. Sign here

Yeah, after the little girl burned for the 10th time i turned it off.  It had a good plot, but I couldn't stand her dying. Sad

well, by the end of the movie the events had changed. the dad somehow made it back to that night and gave his life in the car and in turn his daughter got her life back. It was very touching.

I didn't realize that you didn't know that he had a brother. they do a lot of movies together. The Pang brothers.  They have a twisted thought process on how movies should go.

there is one movie that is japanese i think, i cant remember the name.
theres a part where theres a group of girls in a subway, and they're all smiling and stuff, then they jump infront of a train as its pulling in, or something like that.
can anybody give me the name?

i've only seen some clips of it, and liked what i saw.

Ok sweetie.  The name of the movie you are talking about is called the Suicide Club.  It is a Japanese movie from 2001.  It was an awesome movie.  Ryo Ishibashi from the movie Audition stars in this movie also.  It is good.  If you like this one, you should watch the movie H.
