I read this and how true it is!!!  I never ever challenged Jesse or WC in a debate because personally you can't....you will lose not because they are necessarily right just the fact they always see themselves as right. No offense Jesse, I think you are an awesome guy. Problem is everyone has to see your side of the fence or they start getting picked on. You picked apart a few of my post in the Pledge of Allegience topic. I stand by what I believed on that. As I am sure buggsie and Dennis stand by how they feel. I don't see why it is necessary to hound someone. That is just me *shrugs*.  Hope no hard feelings, but I couldn't help but comment. Dennis is a stand up guy and I will never see it any other way.

When you think like this you're not suited for debate WC. That isn't debate. That's you showing off your superiority. That's you browbeating someone else. That isn't debate.

A debate is about the exchange of ideas and knowledge. And in a way it is not about winning or losing then. Competitive debating is just mind-sport made up by elitist. True debate is only intended to share knowledge and maybe change someone's mind.

And since you have this arrogant manner and believe yourself superior you browbeat people and dismiss them. When you resort to name calling and childish insults, and everyone sees you do this, you are diminishing the value of any intelligent conversation.

Yeah, you might be able to handle technical debate but you are a poor example of debate.
